Co-Founder and Director

Jo Prosser the Co-Founder and Director of Leading Hearts and Minds is an accomplished pacification leader who along with her daughter Cherri set out to transform the working lives of employees by developing the next generation of leaders. The pacification leader outshines other styles of leader by winning the hearts and minds of the people at the outset. Jo believes that people are a company’s most valuable asset and therefore being elevated into a leadership position is a privilege. In the words of Warren Bennis “as leaders our actions have the most profound consequences on other people’s lives, for better for worse and sometimes forever and ever” hence it is essential consideration is given to leadership capabilities when recruiting, promoting and appraising individuals into positions which include responsibility for people. Jo has over 30 years of experience, including 13 years on one of the worlds largest infrastructure projects, where amongst other things she built the document control capability equipping the project for future success and sustainability, embedding a high-performance team culture which embraced the project values. Jo holds a master’s degree in leadership from the University of Lincoln, graduating in 2022 with a distinction. Her negotiated learning project focused on the leadership capabilities required to sustain good mental health, well-being and productivity of office workers in the ‘new normal’.
